Alex McGregor

Alex completed his PhD in I/O Psychology in 2023, where he developed and evaluated a process-based measure of team resilience. This measure captures the extent to which team persist and adapt following adversity, both of which are integral processes to ‘bouncing back’ from challenging events. In addition, he evaluated the capacity and outcomes of team resilience over a series of longitudinal studies with project design teams. He has published several papers, including work on the power and status dynamics of integrating new members into military teams and how perceiving status conflict engenders dominance behaviours in teams. He is now at Leadership Analyst at J.D. Irving.
